The Pearl 16 Ocean Drum can sound like the gentle lapping of low tide or the crash of monstrous storm waves, simply by tilting and swirling it around. Hundreds of tiny steel balls are sealed inside to create this effect.

You can choose between a controlled, warm tone by placing the natural goat skin head is on the bottom, or get more brightness and projection by flipping it over to the clear Mylar side. The solid wood shell is finished in satin black lacquer.
